Dr. David Jenson

Dr. David Jenson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences at Washington State University where he serves as the Director of the Speech Fluency & Electrophysiology Lab. He applies advanced signal processing techniques to EEG recordings to probe how the brain integrates information across sensory and motor modalities in speech perception and production. He seeks to understand how these sensorimotor processes manifest across motor and cognitive tasks, as well as how disruptions to this mechanism may predispose individuals to stuttering and other sensorimotor-linked communication disorders.
